Horse-Trekking Short Break holidays in El Chorro. If you love horse riding and the sunshine then this holiday is for you! With an action packed Horse filled stay you can enjoy your holiday doing something you love! Horse Riding in Andalucia is a truly wonderful experience.

Below is an idea of an itinerary for a 3 night horse riding break in El Chorro but a longer stay is possible upon request and depending upon the commitments of the stables.

Upon arrival we will arrange to have your luggage taken to our accommodation in El Chorro and then we will transport you to Summer Breeze stables in Alora, approx 20 minutes drive from our accommodation. There you will meet Louisa, your fully qualified Horse Riding instructor. Louisa will match your level of riding with one of her 4 horses, all of which are well trained and beautiful horses and one pony.

Day 1 - From the Summer Breeze stables you will ride off road through the beautiful landscape between Alora and El Chorro at a comfortable pace to take in all the views (approx 2-3 hours). Arriving back at the Olive Branch you will un-tack and brush down your horse and settle into your accommodation with a healthy lunch and refreshments (all provided). The afternoon is your free time to either relax by the pool or take one of the many beautiful walks in the area. In the evening there is the option of a BBQ on site or transport to dine at a local restaurant (price not included)

Day 2 - After breakfast and tacking up you will ride with Louisa through the beautiful landscape of El Chorro for approx 2-3 hours. Arriving back at the accommodation the itinerary repeats as per Day 1. You will need to pack your luggage ready for transport back to your vehicle on the final day.

Day 3 - After breakfast and tacking up you will ride from your accommodation in El Chorro to The Summer Breeze Stables in Alora to finish your trekking holiday and return the horses. After settling and washing the horses down you can freshen up ready for your departure to the airport.

During your Free time each afternoon there are other activities available such as archery, painting and guided walks starting from 35 euros per person.

All dietery requirements and special requests can be catered for at breakfast and lunch and tea/coffee/water is available at all times.

Louisa is fully insured with Public Liability insurance and has been featured on the BBC's programme 'Home In The Sun' in 2008! She is a popular teacher in the area and is well known for her clear, expert teaching skills. My daughter has only been riding with Louisa for 8 months and is performing small jumps already!
