El Chorro is a world class climbing destination with many fantastic climbing routes, amazing crags and of course the famous ‘Camino Del Rey‘ more commonly known as ‘The Kings Walk‘. There are many routes of all grades to suit all climbers with most beatiful scenery you will ever see. 

Our Guesthouse is in a prime location for climbing in El Chorro as we are right in front of the crag known as ‘Las Encantadas’ and within 5 minutes walking distance of most of the other crags. You can actually see the crags from our terrace and we are the closest place in the area!

We offer very cheap accommodation for climbers in El Chorro compared to the other local facilities, with our cheapest option starting at just 7 euros per person per night (please email for details) and our rooms starting from only 10 euros per person per night!

We have fantastic facilities here that we offer full use of to all our guests. For campers we have a communal indoor shower/bathroom. In addition for all guests we have two communal kitchens and dining rooms with log burners for the colder months, outside toilets and laundry facilities onsite.

Our atmosphere here is wonderful, relaxed and tranquil. Ideal after a hard days activities! The communal areas are well equipped and large so there is plenty of room to relax and chat to other guests or have some quiet time.

Our accommodation in El Chorro is very close to the local climbing shop for all your equipment needs and there are courses and guides available in the area.

However, we can go one better! We have a superb guide and climber on site that has lived and climbed in El Chorro for 5 years and knows the crags inside out and back to front! He can assist with some information or can accompany you as a guide for a small fee. For more information please contact us as we can arrange the services in advance of your stay.

We are also working in conjunction with Silvia Fitzpatrick of rockclimbingcompany.co.uk to offer a local climbing instructor and a climbing guide. Silvia is a local resident and full member of the British Association of Mountain Instructors and is able to offer rock climbing and mountaineering instruction in El Chorro. She welcomes people of all ages and abilities, from beginners to those more experienced. All transport and equipment is provided. Silvia speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian and courses can be delivered in any of these languages.
